Two-hour continuing education credit for Texas Real Estate Agents. Program taught through Texas Realtors.

This course will do a deep dive into the mortgage industry and mortgages.  The purpose of the class is to explain how the mortgage industry works to such a level that the students in the class will understand the whys behind the most common questions mortgage applicants/buyers ask and even Realtors wonder about.  The course will cover six main topics.  We will discuss what a mortgage is, the secondary market for mortgages, types of mortgages, loan level price adjustments, interest rates, and loan estimates and closing disclosures.
